WWE: The New Era Begins!

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT

Today WWE has announced that Vince McMahon will be stepping down from his position as head of the company. This is due to him being burnt out and ready for a break. He has however not chosen to hand the company on to a family member as it was thought he would. Instead a man called Luke Gardener has been put in charge of the behind the scenes part of the company. He will decide storylines, general managers, rosters, title holders and everything else to do with the company. The only previous experience he has in the industry is building a small British organisation into the leading company in Britain. He has got a big challenge ahead of him and every show can be followed here. Make sure you don't miss a thing including the rosters to be announced very soon!

MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER
I would just like to announce that over the coming weeks all titles will be decided as they have been vacated. The first show will be SmackDown! General Managers will be revealed during the shows although SmackDown will keep Theodore Long for the time being. You can also expect some new signings and a different type of WWE. The game starts on 3rd August (EWR TIME) and will be for all of your entertainment. Let the new era of WWE begin!

PREVIEW - Friday 3rd August 2007

This week sees the first episode of SmackDown under its new management and it is sure to be an explosive evening of action as it always is. Theodore Long the general manager has announced that there will be three singles matches and the winners will meet in a triple threat match at Summerslam for the currently vacant World Heavyweight Title. Batista will face Mark Henry, Edge will face Rey Mysterio and The Great Khali and The Undetraker will square off. These matches are sure to get everyone speaking.

As well as this three titles will be on the line, Chavo Guerrero, Jamie Noble, Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore will meet for the Cruiserweight Title, Deuce and Domino will face The Major Brothers for the tag team gold and the United States Title will be contested between Matt Hardy and Finlay. Who will win some gold this week on SmackDown and who will go on to battle for the World Championship at Summerslam? Tune in to SmackDown to find out!
