Xbox 360. . . Help!

I wanted to start this thread to see if anybody has a similar problem.

The cable that comes with the 360 that is meant to plug into the modem so i can play on xbox live doesnt fit into any of the sockets on my modem if anybody could help i would be very grateful

its meant to go into an ethernet port not a modem port i think.

Indeed. A modem will be of no help to you. It's designed for broadband internet connections. I've got mine hooked up to my ADSL router.

How can i go about getting a ADSL router? sorry im not very knowledgable on these type of things

Go to your nearest PC shop and buy one.

Of course you'll need to have a broadband connection at home for it to work
