Liam Neeson - of course, how could I forget him? His performance in Schindler's List on its own was amazing - and he's played parts as diverse as Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace.
Will Smith has really grown as an actor from when I first saw him - at first I thought he could only do the 'action film' roles like Independence Day, but he has so proven me wrong! I loved him in 'Ali' and not many people can practically carry a film by themselves, but he managed it in 'I am Legend' (not that there was anything wrong with the rest of the cast, but the majority of the film was Will Smith and his dawg. )
As I've posted before, I find good actresses are hard to find. So I settled on Julia Roberts and Cate Blanchett (and maybe Catherine Zeta-Jones for Chicago). But then recently I have been impressed out of left field by Isla Fisher.
Anyone else see it???
Honestly I'm certainly not biased in favour of Aussies - although Blanchett's best work for me was on TV and may not have been seen elsewhere.
