Why?? 20 year olds and 17 year olds have no difference in starting skills. You can, however, invest more ITS into a 20 year old.

Do what you want. You saw my youthpull, he is selling now for ?500,000. The thing with 20 yr olds is, you can't get a primary above respectable. This has been proven. Whatever difference in the secondaries there may be, it is not worth 3 years of age. Also, a 17 yr old sells for much more than a 20 year old on the transfer market

Thats the thing, there have been 20 yo. respectables. It is possible, there just isn't enough evidence as many don't try.

You can, you just can't train him further too much.
Invest 12 ITS in a respectable primary skill and see for yourself.

You can't. There has been extensive research done and not one player above respectable has been found; there is a cap. Visit jumpers for wickets for more details. If you invest 12 in an already respectable player, he will be a very high respectable. That's all.

Thats true. But there hasn't been enough on twenty year olds. Only a few have done it.
But even then, I don't have nets to give 17 YO respectables to make their talent bloom. A twenty YO respectable will:

A) Help get me better secondaries
B) Will improve in secondaries quicker
C) Will get in my team immediately as a good allround player.

But like you said, its our wish...

Damn good for 0 ITS, just a shame the respectables on fielding... Nevermind if someone feels like a decent fielder hes for sale.

My first half decent YP. 20 ITS. Stamina, concentration and consistency dissapointing so onto the transfer market he goes. ?56,000 and he only went on this morning! Triple figures by the end? We'll see.

It'll all go onto financing my next superstar sighning, however much it is. I can't decide whether to spend a few hundred grand on someone with a BT rating of 10-12,000, or save up $500-600,000 and get a BT rating of 20 or 30000. Any tips?

EDIT - Current bid now a staggering ?306035! Bidding ends at 10 to 7, hopefully there'll be a bit of a bidding war between now and then. :)
