We just had to thrash them, had too. There is still so much room for improvement though given that Rhinos aren't the best of teams and each of our player has played international cricket for long. Had Chinyoka and Chigumbura not stitched a 40 run partnership, we would have got them well below 200. It was nice to see most of the bowlers bowled with good and got wickets at regular intervals, particular our 3 main bowlers - Mupariwa, Meth and Querl. Another former local test player Panyangara alongwith the county veteran Ervine gave able support to other pacers. That said, we need cut down on those extras, a whopping 23 runs were gifted in that match by us and thats certainly one department we have to improve by leaps and bounds. Batting was pretty okay barring Jono Trott and the skipper Taylor considering they had pretty toothless attack; even their overseas spinner Daniel Vettori has not played a ODI for almost 2 years pretty similar like their batting veterans Sarwan and Tendulkar who had hardly played any ODI cricket in the past couple of years.

Fenil, has such a strong team this season. The one thing is maybe they should have included an overseas bowler to strengthen their bowling.
Pretty risky tactic to go in with only 1 overseas player, but it paid off. I guess the team have the Fenil as an experienced manager, so they are one of the strongest sides.

Its Varun's team too (
) and to be honest, major part of this team is because of him.Its pre-season tournament and thats why I tried my locals to see their form. As far as including a overseas bowler is concerned, we have the likes of Binga and Morne in the ranks and the two top allrounders; Watto and Shakib too.
