It's unfortunate to crash out of the Academies tournament in such an odd manner. We were hoping for a double title this year. Unfortunately things didn't click for us in Qualifier 2. The way de Kock batted, defeat was certainly on the cards. Hilton Cartwright's all-round performance also made a big difference. It was hard luck for us.

We hope to defend the title again in the ZPL and strengthen our winning streak.
