Wow leaving it late for their release announcement aren't they - all the people with inside sources claiming May 8th thats only two weeks away - and people can take what they want out of peters blog it clearly states he can not report on news when a game doesnt exist people can twist that any way they want.
May 8 is only 2 weeks away so according to all these guys with so called inside sources - expect heaps of screenies and demos in those two weeks before its released.
Either that or they are full of crap!

It's fair questioning the sources of people like Hitterman but PlanetCricket's are solid. This whole site has been built on cricket games and in the 8 years of its being it has built up a good reputation.
The 8th May release date is obviously out of the window now - although it was never confirmed. I wouldn't be surprised if the delay of EA's game and Codemasters' pending title are linked.

No - I don't care either way and I apologize to BarmyArmy it was just after people started talking about their inside source all of a sudden everyone has inside sources and are confirming or denying things that are in there, a quick search for cricket 2009 on wikipedia.org looks like it is just a free for all advertising page for every cricket site on the internet, with everyone logging in and adding their own two lines just so they can add their weblink at the bottom knowing it will earn backlinks.
It's just all over the top - to be honest the way i would like to see it is unless there is anything to confirm, and can be confirmed do not post anything.
I mean seriously it looks as though people are lying (and I am not saying you are) when all they do is say: An announcement can be expected shortly for this announcement but my sources say it should be next week - and then what happens? Peter Moores of all people says there is no game!
