A New Gen Of Coaches AFL 2009- * Round 2*

Nah Roo you dont have to coach another team we got another 2 people, Hooper and stevo1 i`ll put them it and it`ll be even for the comp. Stevo for Richmond, but Hooper just choose team the team you like most

The mighty Fremantle Dockers for me thanks, lets see if I can pull them to the top.

It won't be on easy with FFX.

Hooper added 2 Minutes and 9 Seconds later...

Oh, PPR has it, I should of known.:p

Uhh, I'll choose Geelong then.

Sorry guys for the lack of updates, i had exams for year 12 and was too busy to do an update. But its the start of the holidays so expect the WCE v Freo game soon, and we have 2 new teams, the Tigers and Cats, coached by stevo1 and Hooper respectively.

Sweet man. Wish I was the coach for the Derby. PPR, you better continue the trend.;)

I'm hoping you can do better then Harvey is doing atm. He isn't doing much to be proud off :p

What are you on about!?

We lost 1500 games of experience last year. Picked up 14 new kids, debuted 9 of them. We are missing 6 key players from our side to injury.

He persists with playing the kids, and mentoring them.

As far as im concerned Harvey is doing a fantastic job with the list he has.

Good on him!:hpraise

I just think the players could be playing for the coach a little more. It doesn't seem like some of the players don't want to be playing for Harvs. He has done well with the amount of young players he has blooded, but Fremantle are in the same boat as Melbourne and Richmond at the moment.

To be fair, I think Melbourne's list has a lot more potential than Richmond's. Sure, Richmond have Jack Riewoldt and a few other young players - but they have a lot of old deadwood, and I think Melbourne's list shows a lot more potential for the future than Richmond - we have already started rebuilding whilst they are still going down.

Look at Melbourne's list - Watts, Jurrah, Frawley, Morton, Garland, Martin, Warnock, Wonaeamirri - they are all very young and have a long long way to improve. Once these guys improve, we will have a very strong list.

Melbourne have a much more exciting list. Once Richmond get's rid off Richo, Brown, Bowden, Johnson (is already gone) then they will have to re-build immensly.

I don't agree with that.

I reckon the players are playing for Harves more so than they did last year. The derby and the game against Carlton at GC are good examples. Also the recent match against Geelong and also the match against Richmond.

We are seeing a lot less 4th quarter fade outs. But the problem is Fremantle lack that big of experience and class. If they get that in, they should be better.

Still, neither Freo, Richmond or Melbourne have what it takes to reach final 8 next year, and I think you have to agree with that Punter. Whilst Freo may be rebuilding, their 80 point loss to Collingwood yesterday was one of the major examples - you can't expect them to be brilliantly instantly. A couple of seasons time and they will start to gain experience and play as a better team, but I doubt Melbourne, Richmond, Fremantle or West Coast will make the 8 in 2010.

West Coast might because now some of their younger players are starting too step up.

Lol, I never said anything about freo being anywhere near the finals next year. As far as im concerned we will be bottom 3. I'm just saying Harves shouldnt be slammed just because we are languishing at the bottom of the table. If you consider the circumstances you would agree with me.
