Most Exciting Series

Right now, all the hype is on the Ashes and it has always been. But my personal favorite is the India vs Australia. Quality wise, the contests have been better and entertaining. A little dash of controversy, and it has all been served up so well in recent times. Frankly, I am waiting for the next edition of India-Australia tests (esp. in Australia)

Friend863 first post is just my thoughts copy
Which series you think is the most exciting Series? Which series you enjoys the most?

Mine will be-
SA Vs Ind > Ind Vs Aus > Aus Vs SA.
I have lost interest in SA Vs Aus because SA always wins that series so now I want something new.

Except these, My other favourites series are
The Ashes (only when it is not a one sided series) and Pak Vs Ind.
If you ask me favourites in this mine is ashes or pakistan vs india.

Pakistan vs England in 2005. England just beating Australia and were on a huge high coming to Pakistan. Pakistan brought them back to reality :)

Ashes. Noway. Apart from 2005 it has been only Australia.

India V Pakistan is where real passion lies. No one can compete with it.

Wrong, India-Pakistan is just as passionate as the Ashes and the rivalry is longer and more intense.

Non-English and non-Aussies just don't understand the Ashes. They can't even spell it properly.

Non Indian or Non Pakistani fans just dont know what they miss.

2005 Ashes was the most memorable for me, but the best times was the 06/07 Ashes. Going fishing, coming home to watch the cricket, go play backyard cricket in the breaks, watch England get pummeled and Warnie running amok. Nothing better.

Your Ashes rivalry might be more understandable if you actually were competitive (other than 2005).

It's not all about the individual series. The rivalry is unprecedented between England and Australia in any sport. And it's not like we weren't more competitive pre 1981.

What zMario says. The Ashes are rich in tradition, but often ridiculously one-sided.

India vs. England is good, NZ vs. Aus, anything can happen when India plays Pakistan, RSA vs. Aus, Bangladesh vs. Zim...

The First ever Hadlee Chapple trophy. Which eneded up in a tie cause of stupid rain :crying

That tri series Aus, SA and NZ had abou 4 or 5 years ago.

Ashes 05 I suppose, although I don't like to say it.

Some other I've forgotten.

Your not talking about Test cricket right?

Really, that proves how good it is. Even if it is really one-sided, it's easily the best series in Test Cricket. Nothing even comes close to touching it. As much as you Pakistan and Indians members want to argue, your just going to have to face the facts eventually.
