For me the top festival would be Durga Puja...It's a big event...And it has all for a festival..In Pune it's celebrated in a good scale.. But in Kolkata as of what I've seen it's a real big Festival

In Tamil Nadu, Pongal is celebrated in a very big way. There are three days to it - Bhogi (where people burn all their old items to signal the dawn of the new year), Pongal (the main festival day, people boil milk and when the milk comes up, we shout "Pongalo Pongal") and Mattu Pongal (its Pongal for the cows, we worship them and treat them like gods).

Its a fun festival. Its famous for sugarcanes. We eat a lot of sugarcanes on this festival. And we get 3 days of holidays for it.

I love all festivals :banana2 i love Ganesh chaturthi, Navrati, Diwali, Dasera Holi, and also Christmas!

Diwali is my favorite aswell.

One problem in recent times about Diwali is that in Tamil Nadu, they have brought a rule banning the use of firecrackers after 10pm and before 6am. What we used to enjoy in those days (bursting the first cracker between 2:30 and 3am) cant happen now. Dont know about other states but I know its prevalent in TN.

Who cares.I fire crackers whenever there is a break in the movies that are put on TV on that day.I burst the whole day tbh.
