1) Add more animations to the game. My suggestions would be player entrance from the dressing room and exit as well, Man of the Match ceremony and also occasionaly random animations such as camera focus on a player after he takes a catch, or camera on captain during an intense match etc.
2)Crowd should be made 3D and attendance & sounds should vary according to the formats of the match and teams playing.
3) LED Stumps, 3D adboards on pitch and the most importantly an overlay prematch of the playing teams etc (like channel9 or star sports, can be included for customization in academy
4) Random statistics showing in between a match such as most wickets of tournament, most runs etc
5)Better grass texture
6)There can be birds etc on the ground as well?
General/Gameplay
1)Better fielding, like throws should be fast incase a runout is possible
2)Wicketkeeper should be quick and not wait like he does now
3)Include women's cricket, WBBL , Women's World Cup
4) Wicketkeeper should be less flexible while catching, Slips are there for a reason
5)Player emotions which can effect their game. ( Also opens possibility of sledging)
6) More bowling variation of AI, also AI needs to be improved overall, eg make more changes according to condition of match.
7) Better atmosphere. Like home team crowd getting quiet when someone of the team gets out or cheering hard when opposite team player is out
8)Include the possibility of sledging which affects player emotions
Career
1) A new cash system!. You can earn cash by winning Man of the match, signing contracts etc. This can be used for buying equipment which can boost our stats a bit, donations to organisations ( which will improve our popularity) or buying day to day stuff which can improve our mood and hence form
2)Popularity- Popularity can be gained by playing better cricket, giving donations, giving interviews ( choice to do after you score a century or man of the match etc)
3)Awards- Awards can be gained like cricketer of the year etc
4) Auctions- Auctions can be introduced for leagues like IPL
5)Intl. Tournaments during career- Career gets a bit boring after you reach international as there are absolutely no international tournaments. Add Asia Cup, World t-20, World Cup, Tri-Series etc.
6)Rivalries- New thing called rivalries should be introduced, eg Eng vs Aus, Indi vs Pak etc. It creates pressure on players, also players are aggressive etc.
7)Injuries- These are a must, if someone is hit, there should be doctors rushing animation and the player should be retired hurt. It should be in other modes apart from career too.
8) After an over, the possibility of talking to the other player on crease about mentality, eg- rotate strike, full on aggressive or balanced.
9) There can be cutscenes between the talks b/w coach and players
10) Evolution- The teams should evolve according to time, eg out of form players getting dropped, new computer generated players replacing the retired ones etc. I hate playing with the same team again and again.
11)If we are a captain, we should be able to choose the playing XI
12) Interviews- there should be interviews on certain occassions like if you score a match winning knock or become the man of the match or player of the year etc and there should be 3-4 options to choose from and it can affect your career, eg if you speak against a player then he would be your rival and play hard against you or if you speak some good thing the team mentality can improve.
13) Some special cutscenes, like player sobbing in the dressing room after a WC Final loss or player dancing etc after a WC win.
Thank you for reading, these may be difficult to implement but it surely can be implemented and it would make the game fantastic!
