Fantastic performance by Hafeez in probably his last game. Ironically, Shaheen has been their worst bowler so far. Fakhar failed with the bat, but made up for it in the field, proper big match player.

Now i think PSL is the only league where all the teams have won a trophy. Now i think PCB should add 2 more teams one from Faisalabad and don't know about the other one. And finally Lahore have won a trophy

What do you guys make of this?

I think Ramiz is doing this to take on the IPL. Dunno, whether this is a good idea. The draft system has worked well, given enough to cheer about and personally fele it should remain that way.

I think Ramiz is doing this to take on the IPL. Dunno, whether this is a good idea. The draft system has worked well, given enough to cheer about and personally fele it should remain that way.

Honestly I don't think drafts are as attractive as the auction. Usually in drafts you are going to get a fixed price which is usually much lower than the auction price. With auction it brings up an uncertainty factor and also increases the pressure on other teams to get the best players.

I think it does make sense to have auction given the PSL have grown pretty well over the years as compared to the other leagues around.

Draft system has made sure that there is fairness and competition, it took only 7 season for all 6 franchises to win the title (Multan have played since only the third season as well). I doubt Pakistani-owned franchises have the financial muscle for an auction right now. With the state of the country right now, the PCB is lucky to be able to have the revenue that it currently has, it should look to protect the PSL as it is, because it's a massive hit domestically.
