Absolutely atrocious scheduling in having the Aussies fly out the morning after the final ODI. Surely completing almost 3 months of gruelling cricket entitles you to at least one night at home? Anyway, Australia should win the tests comfortably. ODIs/T20s will be much closer.

Haddin's game plan seems to be along the lines of hitting out against the bowlers no matter what conditions. It's pretty well suited to ODI but imo if he doesn't show a bit more restraint or atleast controlled aggression at test level we might do well to look at developing a more long term...

A perilous 50-50? I'd say an easy 60/40 Australia's way. Going back a decade Australia won the 3 test series 3-0 in 1999/2000 (then won all 3 games against India in the C-U series), Lost 2-1 in 2001 in India (won ODI series 3-2), drew 1-1 in 2003/04 (ODI: 3-1 then a 2-0 win in the finals)...

I reckon it's a seasonal thing. One season you'll see the ball well, time it beautifuly and score lots of runs. The next, you miss easy runs, misstime the ball and fail to get any big innings going. The best advice is to keep on trying and concentrate on the small things in you're game...
