T20 World Cup 2024 (West Indies/USA)

110-120 would have been a decent score here. Misjudged the pitch completely!

If India and that is big IF India go to finals, it would be the first time two unbeaten teams would meet in finals and would remain unbeaten whoever wins, IF India go into semis.

What a tweaked up pitch for semis. Also shambolic scheduling. Feel for Afghanistan

It would hurt a lot more losing the Final than it would losing SF.

In any case,

India lose SF - Chokers
India lose Final - Great to have reached the Finals but....Chokers

It's a lose-lose situation.

Should have just bowled first, would not have been a disastrous loss at least

As a fan of SA cricket, would be in 2 minds if India reaches the finals- Want both to win, neither to lose.

South Africa are through! That's 2 in 2 for Aiden Markram! Markram as captain in CWC 2023 could have made a difference as well.

Gulbadin's injury spread to the rest of them.

No it wouldn’t have.

England journalists crying more

It is actually a well-written article- which puts the blame on the ICC and the its broadcasters, unlike many others who tend to blast the BCCI usually. Scheduling has been a concern + the logistics of teams ferrying between the islands hasn't been catered to. While this World Cup generates buzz and interest more than the one in 2007, the fundamentals concerns over logistics still remain.
