Weather Forecast:

Pitch Report:
"The pitch today is hard and true. It is a great batting surface and looks like it may hold up for a few days. It will spin later in the test and will start to wear away. With rain forecasted for late in the test it would be a good option to bat first on this pitch."

Good Luck,

and what does !xspeed on 1.61 mean?

It is a program which speeds up the game.
1.61 is the amount i am speeding it up by.
It really tests you, everything happens much quicker.

MATCH UPDATE AT LUNCH DAY 1 (28 overs)
England got off to a solid start. Trescothick and Strauss opened the batting.
They had some problems early facing the pace of Akthar and Sami but soon got their act together.
They settled in nicely and both looked set to make decent scores.
Their partnership got to 63 before Strauss mis-timed a cover drive straight to gully. He was out for 27 of the bowling of Ahmed.
Butcher was next in. He faced 2 balls, he hit a 4 then got bowled.
Trescothick and Vaughan then batted out untill lunch and took the score to 2/104.

England: 2/104 after 28 overs

Best Batsmen:
Marcus Trescothick: 46* (90)
Andrew Strauss: 27 (54)

Best Bowlers:
Shabbir Ahmed: 2/17 (5 overs)
