@Perfect Square your turn

Simon O'Donnell is my pick.

A powerful bowling All Rounder that was instrumental to Australia's 1987 WC victory. 100+ wickets at an average of 28 with the ball and 1000+ runs at an average of 25. Stats alone suggest he was pretty good.

Needed to cover that left arm spinner's spot and Tom Hogan looks like he fits that bill.

@Viper.

Any good team needs a solid opening pair, and the 1996 WC Captain is my pick to complete my opening duo

Mark Taylor might be better known for his 334, But he was a decent ODI player and opened for Australia, and in the 1996 World Cup lead the team to the final. With only 1/20 of his centuries coming in ODIs and an average of 32, he was a finer red ball cricketer, but he is good enough to pair Marsh at the top for the team.

Very underrated, :bat: Brad Hodge often wasn't in the Aussie team because of the obvious problem of "being an Australian player during the 2000s", but he was arguably at his best in LO cricket, which considering his red ball record is a lot to say.

Simon O'Donnell hit the biggest six ever struck at the MCG, and his 18-ball ODI 50 was a complete outlier for the era in which he played. Had he been born a bit later he could have named his price in any T20 league in the world.
