The One Day Bands Draft

Opening with my uncapped player once again, I'm gonna take :saf: RG Pollock for my first pick in this draft

An average of 51 in List A cricket will do me nicely, a career unfortunately cut short by the sporting boycott of South Africa.

Similar idea, other end of the South African ban.

:saf: :ar: Clive Rice played just three ODIs but averaged 37 with the bat and 22 with the ball. Plus I don't need to use my uncapped pick on him.

I mean is it even a question when the ODI GOAT is still unpicked.

Everyone seems to be going all in on batters or all rounders early on it seems so let’s change it up a bit cause I’m a believer of batting wins you matches but bowling wins your tournaments. Therefore I’m gonna pick the greatest ODI bowler of all time returning to the same Caribbean well as my test bands draft.

:wi: :bwl: Big Bird Joel Garner.

I’m going to double down on pace bowling talent here. With this new ball combination opposition are going to be like 20-3 quite a lot. It does mean my top 2 bands have gone to bowlers but if they ain’t scoring many, we don’t have to chase as many. So :ind: :bwl: Jasprit Bumrah joins Joel Garner in our attack.
