Post Line-ups World Greats Test Championship - (Cricsim) - 30 MAN SQUADS NEEDED (& 1st series pitches)

Sorry @Aravind. Broken 3 rules:
- You can only have 1 player who is not on the long-list. So only 1 of Stewart or Brook can come in (I would suggest Stewart because):
- You only have 2 keepers (Stewart & Prior), you have to have 3 in the 30 man squad.
- You can't have multiple Tests in the same series at the same ground (sorry, didn't write that one down as didn't think anyone would do that).
@Welwyn just asking for better clarity, so on the first series against SA, in 4 test matches, only one can be played at Old Trafford, right ?

Les Ames will take the place of Brook.

Man England have so many good keepers…

NEW ZEALAND FIRST TO ANNOUNCE SQUAD

Few surprises in the Black Caps squad
New Zealand were the first team to announce their 30-man squad for the World Greats Test Championship, with the biggest question mark being who would be named captain. Common consensus was that it would be either one of the 'big 4' of Kane Williamson, Sir Richard Hadlee, Martin Crowe or Brendon McCullum, but reports in recent days had suggested that serious thought was being given to giving the captaincy to Stephen Fleming. This is due to him being considered the best pure captain available to the Kiwi's., despite him not necessarily being a shoe-in for a place in the side.

As it was, Williamson and Hadlee were announced as captain and vice respectively, to very little surprise. The same was true when it came time to announce the squad in full, with the biggest names to miss out probably Andrew Jones and John Wright.

The biggest takeaway from the announcement came in the fact that batsman-keepers are very much the route the selectors have taken, with all four players named as options behind the stumps noted for their ability as batsman first, rather than keepers with Ian Smith, widely considered the best gloveman available, left out entirely.

The guy kept in several test matches so he wouldn't get penalised JUST for keeping. (He'd get a hit if you wanted him to keep and open, but only the same as Alec Stewart would for example, if you batted him at 5 and he kept, no ratings hit)
So if he comes at no. 3. Ratings won't take a hit?

Nope (haven't finalised the injury generation system yet, if he was consistently in at 2/1, 10/1 and spending 95%+ of series on the field of play, his chances for injury would likely increase later in 4 or 5 match series, but not a ratings hit).
