@kurtkz: Don't worry about the timed shots problem (you can remove the bug report for that)... seems that the outfield speed for Newlands is way too slow .
@kurtkz: Just installed the new patch and the clock is still moving way too quickly (takes over 5 minutes for an over to be completed even when defensive shots are played).

@kurtkz: I noticed the simulate inning button only simulates till a wicket falls.
Also, is there a keyboard shortcut to declare an innings? Because I was batting and the innings was declared even though I didn't want to (may have pressed a button or something)

Regarding the pitches problem, I think the wrong pitches.bdb file is being read (just from seeing the modification time attribute, it's reading the one in the folder where I stored the game files instead of the one in...

EDIT: Tested the pitch editor and noticed a few issues:
- I added a new venue and saved it but the venue did not appear when choosing a venue
- Had to type the stadium name backwards to spell the name correctly

I can move fielders to the offside (but can't move them to the legside, both inside and outside the ring, they end up springing back to the offside). Happened throughout the bowling innings (after resuming a game).
