The career player as a batsman is still ok, you can improve each game. Another career player fault is the fielding, how often do you get catches and if ever a runout. Your player remains a liability in the field.

I gave up on my career fast bowler, I've been playing RPIC for about 3 months and his slower ball is quicker than the stock fast ball... Like someone already said unless you are playing the minnows its hard to get top order wickets with the slow fast bowler. I've created a career Off Spinner now.
