Who is your least favourite cricketer and why?

Not sure if he has been mention yet.. Graham Smith.

I did actually write a big story why I don't like him but thought this might cover it. He talks a good game and thats it. He hasn't really performed well against the aussie's yet.

Sorry I just have to say this, but a Koala is not a bear! One of these little things that bug me.
To be fair, he didn't actually say it WAS a bear. He just called it a Koala Bear, which is it's usual name.

2. Muttiah Muralitharan - I quite dont like his action, and I feel he doesnt deserve to compete with a legendary bowler like Warne in the "most no. of wickets" record. And also I feel "he doesnt bowl in a manner in which he should bowl". Ok, the laws of cricket have been amended to allow his action and that he is lawfully right, but as Bishen Singh Bedi rightly says, this game is not for players with such hyperextension, and I agree fully with him.
Two things should be pointed out to you.

1. His normal delivery has ALWAYS been within the laws of the game.
2. Pretty much EVERY bowler straightens their elbow to some degree.

Smith annoys me because he talks too much crap. He will mature though. I don't hate him or anything, hes quite a good batsman to watch.

Gilchrist annoys me at times.

I really hate Ricky Ponting because he is an arrogant pri*k. He always wants to argue with the umpires over tiny things (and never seems to get reprimanded) and the way he reacted when he was runout by Gary Pratt in the ashes was terrible.

I also never liked Brad Williams who played a few matches for Australia. I'm not sure why though.

Never been a fan for some odd, probably subconscious reason, either. He seems sly, canniving, etc...but we, as the public, really don't know much about his personal character- except for the fact that he had a cry and abruptly resigned from WA...

My most hated one is probably Ponting. He acts like a 12 year old on the field and has the brains of a dog. All he does is whinge, whinge and whinge even more when a decision is against him or against the team.

I don't thinking hating Ponting because he doesn't have his own opinion is not a valid reason. Has anyone thought that he reigns in opinions and contradicts himself because he is forced to by Cricket Australia.
If he is too chicken to have an opinion of his own, it doesn't make him better in my eyes. he reminds me of George Bush. A monkey kinda guy. Just seems like he doesn't know what he is doing out there. Like a small lost kid...

Absolutely, one of the main reasons for the ammount of turn Murali gets is because of the fact he is Double Jointed.

Many overlook this unfortunately :(

Wow, seperated at birth.

If previous captains had Warne, Mcgrath, Lee, Martyn, Gilchrist, Gillespie and Ponting himself in their side, they wouldn't lose too much either.

I don't think they overlook it, I think they just ignore it so that they can spout out the usual crap about him being illegal and not deserving the wickets he has.

In sticking with the topic, I'm not a big fan of Harbajhan(sp?) Singh, he's just arrogant, the way he refused to walk when he was bowled by KP just sums it up.

Absolutley true! That's why I like Stephen Fleming, he has only 2 or maybe 3 world class players, and he still does the best he can as captain.

Stuart MacGill I hate him so, so much he is so up himself that you can see his feet coming out of his butt, he thinks he's the best spinner in the world, I also hate how he thinks he should play every test match with Warne (even on a green pitch) and I also hate his bowling action it looks like he's doing ballet rather than playing Cricket :gundown

I agree with you wholeheartedly my friend...the guy is an a***hole. He talks the talk, but yet he never walks the walk, particularly when playing against Australia. Shane Warne summed it up perfectly by saying: "you could fry an egg on his face in 2 minutes". I used to laugh at every single failure of his, because I knew that it would embarrass him. In my opinion, he is immature. Hopefully time will change him.
