1 day matches are all about getting in as fast as possible and these are a few things ive found that help:
1) On a batsmans wicket with plenty of sun pick your most attacking batting bowlers so that if you lose too many wickets then you can still add a few runs at the end.

Ive heard Cricket 05 is practically impossible (although this friend isnt too good at games and it is on the ps2) but ive never played it myself

LOL! Are you serious?! No way, first three guys put on 120 then the next 6 put on 20.
Ive won on less wickets lost in Twenty20 before, but it was ridiculous. Only needed 3 of the last over to win and still got 2.
The major drawbacks of BLIC are 1) Limited strokeplay, and by that i mean advancing down the wicket shots, reverse sweep etc. Also the strokes are quite scripted and not freestyle enough 2) Innings generator 3) Career fast bowler is pedestrian

2nd season, 2nd CC match, i'm Essex at Middlesex. I post an awful 183 after losing the middle 6 wickets in 8 overs then they hit 355 (their batting lineup goes on forever). Then next innings im 119-6 just looking to avoid an innings defeat when tariq and foster come to the crease and put on 144...
