In the google docs link, click on file >> download and download the entire zip file.
Unzip the whole zip so that you have the exes and a directory called data with some text files in there. The error could come if the data directory and the text files are not found by the exe.

A reply after 2 years might not help, but for anyone who comes to this thread searching -
Windows 64 bit versions are weird. Download mschrt20.ocx and put the file in windows\SYSWOW64 instead of system32.
Then start a command prompt as admin and type this - regsrv32...

I made a field editor and a stroke ed for the original BLC. I think I also made an ed for Cricket Coach (which was called Cricket Manager back then).
I used to actively participate in a cricket league and played every single cricket game that released...
Hello everyone,
I post after a very very long time. I am the developer of Total Cricket and a couple of editors of the original BLC. I found an old OD and 4 day league simulator I had developed 10 years back and thought would share it with everyone here, since this seems to be one of the most...
The stroked ed is now complete and I have sent it to sangam.I think he will upload it to c2002 online soon.
I am really busy with my studies for the moment but will give the field editor a try later.

I have modified the blc stroke editor to now edit c2002 strokes.ppl who would like to beta test it please mail me at [email protected] or reply here.

yes I am around too and like shailesh waiting to get my hands on the full game.I will try and change the stroke and field eds soon.
And it looks like its gonna be good old days again with everybody coming up with good info on the files....

Blc guru,
I very much doubt there is something important in the vg files..
I renamed batsmans vg file to WKs vs file but there was no change when I ran the game.Any way they seem to contain very less info(file size less than 2KB)
Sriram
Manish,
You have a older version of comdlg32.ocx file on your computer. Please read the help.txt file and look at the link I have mentioned.Download the file comdlg32.zip and unzip it in your windowssystem directory.
Hopefully things should work well when you run it again.

Oops, forgot to add 2 lines of code due to which this happened!!Really sorry everybody.I have corrected it and sent it to ste.Hope this works better.
Sorry again everyboy,
Sriram
I have found one way to add little bit of realism.
I think edges do not really depend on timing but just luck.By changing the direction of the stroke for very early or very late to behind the wicket the batsman can be 'punished' for wrongly timing the shot.I tried it with the straight drive...
I very much doubt it sangam.I tried many in the main directory. Not much luck..as Paul has already said most are for fielders running sliding etc..
Anyway lets wait and see.....

The field editor can be downloaded from :
http://blc.sports-gaming.com/BLCFED110.zip
Ste,
Could you move it somewhere into the first page of misc. downloads..
I am not saying this because I have made it or something but a couple of people have already asked for it.
Thanks,
Sriram
Manish and leigh,
I have sent the editor to ste.It should be available for download from BLC Online soon.
Also added a dropdown list of strokes.
