playing tests, pc, veteran dufficulty, hard batting. I’ve noticed all of a sudden the ball is coming off the bat far quicker and I’m scoring 4’s off the majority of cleanly struck balls. Before I rarely got fours and tended to get 1’s, 2’s and 3’s. It’s as if the pitch has become a lot faster...

On classic control you have to point the left stick towards the bounce of the ball not just up and down. As far as I’m aware anyway?

I’ve never seen it, so wonder why the developer included it. Def needs to be in next patch

Yea I feel your pain, check out my other thread. Game seems OTT on edges but trying to learn how to time better and get footwork right to avoid it! Is it possible on classic controls? I don’t know yet

Sorry I see my previous title was misleading. I am only referring to when the AI is bowling. How are you getting out when batting post patch? I find too many wickets from edges

I still can’t get the footwork right for back foot. The best I get is ok footwork. I play on batsmen far camera (or broadcast maybe) and play around 2pm for an offside short ball and never get good footwork.

I get this for front foot shots - though it’s hard to be precise using classic controls on harder difficulty- but how does it work for back foot shots? You can’t point the left stick towards bounce of ball when you’re pulling it backwards!

Did I? I use both pitch marker and aerial marker. Never denied using them so not sure what you’re referring to??

Agreed. When the AI was batting they got a hand ful of edges and scored over 300 runs. When I bat I get at least 1-2 edges per over and all out for 76, and I’m not a bad player! Pre patch I was getting 300 average, now I can bairly get 100 and almost every wicket is a catch from an edge. I just...
