Ah, sorry my mistake. Happy for that to be moved there by a mod (I'm assuming I can't do that myself!).
I'm South of the River, Melville area. :) How about yourself?
Hey guys,
For anyone interested, the True Footy Podcast has done a bit of a review of the Ashes Cricket game. I know it's been out for a while but it's a bit more of a casual take on the game.
It starts at about 12:50 of this video below:
Having played AC09 and IC10, and having experience with BigAnt games, I think the BA one will be much better.

Being their first cricket game, I fully expect some there to be some issues with the game. However I'm confident it will have AC13 covered.
Agree, Bailey should be a fringe ODI player at this stage and no more.
I think Mitch Marsh is our long term successor to Shane Watson. I would certainly have him over Dan Christian at this point.
U/19s cricket final here in Abu Dhabi, both schools showed up and so there was about 1000 people in the stands at Sheikh Zayed Stadium. We were playing the Pakistani school and they had just beaten the some other school by a record of 250 runs or something (in a 25 over match), making 309 with...
I'm a massive Hughes fan and I think it's inevitable that he will be in all three formats internationally within a few years.
The squad that's going to the UAE would essentially be our WT20 squad, as we have to cut it to 15 men prior to that series. It would be a bizarre backflip otherwise...
Both fit I would already have Mitch Marsh ahead of Christian.
One big concern I feel is the spin department. Doherty is simply not damaging enough to be our first choice ODI spinner. We need to start developing one.
What's the most unfair loss anyone's had?
I made 298 in an ODI against RSA, had them 100-7, and Philander made 86* and Morne Morkel made 57 and I lost by 1 wicket with 5 overs left. Really stupid. :facepalm
Over his career, Zaheer is obviously superior.
However Anderson would be streets ahead on current form. One of the best new ball bowlers in the world currently.
Bit harsh on Smith - he began his international career at what, 20? In the last 2 years his scope for development would be much higher than say, the 30ish year old Johnson (just an example). A batting average of 22 is not a fair indication.
I agree however that he should be selected as a pure...
I just played what would have to be one of the most amazing test matches ever.
Batting first in the 5th test hosting the Windies as Australia, I was already up 3-0 in the series and was quite happy to bat first and bat the Windies out of the game. And that's exactly what I did - or thought I...
