True, trying to keep the shine maintained on one side is the key to swing the ball, especially the reverse swing, but u need to be able to bowl at good pace, i doubt if a medium pacer can do that

Don't ask me, it's rather shame, run out on 49 that too on a wide ball, was lookin for the strike

The pacers more so if they bowl short

hook and square cut, but cover drive the sweetest

Cricket is not slog all the way and slog is not cricket, if u can time the ball well it doesn't matter that u use the normal bat, besides nothin sweeter than a well executed cover drive with a normal heavy beast

i bet it can be a bit frustrating to start playing at that age, but guess never too late to try something, remember it takes time learn skills n childhood is still the best time to start, but obviously no one can wind back time, so just start playing now

Funny, swinging the ball needs a lot of pace , i doubt if a slow medium pacer can do it, never a spinner.

Currently Slazenger and SS, though i have used almost every bat in the book
