And it was by the turbanator Panesar, its just aswell really cos my other bowlers were crap.

He then went on to take 6-108 in the next innings, which was over shadowed by the fact I needed 192 and was halfway into the second session, step forward Sachin hitting a century off 61 balls to win me the game (he is averaging 111 this seaon).

I know, Tremlett has been my man on form this season, and all of the others (bar Batty) have been averaging in the low 20's. Panesar got the breakthrough and just kept taking the wickets, Tremlett had 5 play and misses and a solid LBW appeal turned down in one over. Its not even that Panesar bowled Fantasticly, its none of the otheres could hit a barn door with a banjo.

Panesar is a bloody good bowler, I don't know if he is capable of getting 10 in an innings but to say the game is 'unrealistic' for that happening is silly.

Becuase I hadn't taken any wickets and he has a bit of a 'golden arm' for me, hes got the wickets of Kallis and Ponting this season.

How is Panesar is bloody good bowler... he cant even get 5 wickets in and innings that often let alone 10

yes but The Turbanator Two Judgment Day isn't as good a chant.
And Panesar has took 7 in one innigs before, and 5 against the best test side since the Windies. Compare to Danish Kaneria (not a SLA I know) who has also took 7 in one innings (his best) and Vettori (also 7). He is comparable to the best SLA Test bowlers, Maybe not up to Murali and Warnes standard, but quite capable of getting 10 wickets in the right circumstances (like mine when he was the only bowler looking like he could hit the stumps).

something else occurred to me. you dont need to be all that great a spin bowler to take 10 wickets in an innings anyway. If Eddie Hemmings can do it, surely anyone can......
