1001 Things You Love about Cricket

47. Sledging: No matter whoever does it, always makes the game more interesting and also charge the players up after that .

49. Arrogance. All the players I look up to and admire have at least abit of arrogance and swagger about them. Guys like Kevin Pietersen, Sir Viv Richards, the great West Indian Fast Bowlers of the 70's and 80's, Dale Steyn, Matthew Hayden, Darren Gough, they all have some sort of air of arrogance about them, especially KP and Sir Viv. It's just fascinating to watch and when the arrogance is coupled with genius it makes for enthralling viewing.

You can add Warne to that list.

50. Bowling the perfect leggy. I'm a leggy and when I bowl the perfect leggy, it feels so good when it comes out of the hand. You just know it's a good ball.

Totally agree. You just know when it's a wicket taking ball when it leaves your hand.

51. Variations - From the googly to the slower ball. Fascinating to see how and when bowlers use them.

52. Youngistan Meri Jaan- Pepsi coined this phrase after MSD began revolutionizing Indian cricket in the shorter version of the game. It makes me very happy knowing that we can win, and convincingly, without The Little Master.

53. The World Cup- The best International cricket tournament.

54.

The joy of loving the game even in places in the world where it is non existent. Matches starting at midnight and going through to 7 AM, where I am busily getting ready for school and possibly facing exams that day as well :p. That I feel is the best part, sheer love of the game to sacrifice it all just to watch them play. There's no one to talk to about cricket, except the mother who still thinks Ganguly is captain of India and a Dad who is into the game but loves his sleep too much to watch it with you :p. Thus, I come on Planet Cricket and I am somewhat addicted:p. But its a need!

56) Wrong Decisions.

Its kinda fun you know.:p

57. Glenn McGrath vs Sachin Tendulkar.

Nothing better then watching the greatest fast bowler of this generation DISMISS the greatest batsman of this generation and hear the death silence of the Indian crowd.

Used to love watching McGrath get Tendulkar out. Makes you feel privledged to be Australian. :D

58) Geooff Boycott's commentary.

Love listening to it on the radio, bring him to sky sports i say.
