1001 Things You Love about Cricket

65. Sachin vs Warne.

Nothing better than watching the greatest batsman of the generation smash the greatest spinner ever over and over and over for six straight back over his head, with the crowd erupting every time he danced down the track. Makes you feel privelaged to be an Indian. :D;)

66. Ricky Pontings smug face when things aren't going his way. He whines to the umps, looks absolutely clueless. His off or middle stump flying off the ground as Ishant Sharma rips through his defence, or has him squared up brilliantly for a neat catch to first slip. Or if you prefer spin, Harbhajan gets him every time.

67. Sachin's 143 in Sharjah against Australia in 1998 where India chased a revised target. I personally rate it as the greatest ODI innings ever played.

68. The fact all the fans are so wonderfully bitchy :D

Best feeling in the world.
Nothing better. The best thing in the sport, either playing or watching. Course if you're batting hearing that horrible ding is heartbreaking.

I tend not to get bowled either, dirty hacks that get me caught at mid off are my problem. See now I'm playing with the old blokes though they see me as the fit youngster whose job it is to get quick runs at the end of the innings so I have to go out and try and turn around their slow scoring in 5 overs which leads to my stumps being hit a fair bit ;)

69. A cartwheeling stump. Hitting the stumps may be great, but seeing a stump cartwheel back is unrivaled. The best ones I've seen that spring to mind are Geraint Jones vs Shaun Tait 2005 Ashes, that stump must have cartwheeled for miles, and then Simon Jones vs Michael Clarke. Still my favourite delivery of all time. The Tait delivery to GoJo was a peach though, just love seeing that stump cartwheeling back.

74. Equipment - So many different types of balls, bats, pads, etc...
