IPL 19 Apr - Delhi Daredevils vs Deccan Chargers

Yudi And Saim Wait for the CSK vs DD match, It should be named Yudi vs Sai.

Testing my patience by posting idiotic things, huh?
I am not a dud like you to get carried if my team loses a match.

When did I say I got carried away? Only when it comes to India, I get really upset when India loses a match, not for IPL. Its just not the same. But when someone posts nonsense stuff about a team I support, its human tendency to hit back.

You posted idiotic things in the other thread, and you use the same argument against me? Grow up kiddo!

That will be a very exciting battle.

Meanwhile, why didnt Ishant play today's game? Injured or dropped?

Whatever may be the reason, but DC's bowlers proved me wrong. I thought 165 would be easy target. Harmeet Singh was developed under Gilly's captaincy and he seems improved now. Ojha too got a game, 1 of my favourite bowlers. Overall, good show. :cheers

Ishant has been bowling well this tournament. His economy has been very good for most of the games he played, and he picked up a few wickets too. In T20's, if you have a good economy, you are a good bowler (even if you dont pick up too many wkts)

Warner seems to be carrying on with this more cautious approach. Dam average chase by Delhi, the other batters just haven't fired and Finch has been disappointing so far.

Ishant was sick, I believe.

Oh, and CSK is absolutely over-rated. Never won more than 8 games, yet people act like they're a juggernaut. They've definitely got the best resume of the IPL teams, but not by much.

Also, I feel really bad for DD. All they had to do was retain Sehwag, Gambhir, de Villiers, and Dilshan and they would have been set.

Who would you consider better - the team that wins all games and falters at the final hurdle (like a South Africa or a Delhi or a Mumbai or others) or a team that wins enough games and mainly wins the crucial and important games that wins you the tournament (like Australia, CSK, Rajasthan (in that first IPL), etc)? If Mumbai had been in CSK's place, the over rating they would have got is just unimaginable (or for that matter Delhi or KKR). CSK's excellent run at IPL has not been rated as much as it could have been.

In T20, no team really goes on a juggernaut if you take the popular perception of being on a juggernaut. The nature of the game doesn't let people do that. But CSK have consistently played very well in all IPL's to be called as "being on a juggernaut" as defined for T20 standards.

I just said that I hate CSK because they are highly over-rated.

I won't mind that! ;)

I've already said CSK has the best resume in the IPL. No one has a legit claim to being better than them. But that being said, they're no way a juggernaut, and they're treated and feared like one. And that's why they're overrated.

Sure you can be juggernaut. Rajasthan in IPL1, 11-3 record, IPL win. Chennai have never gotten more than 8. They're consistently above average, but not great.

And Delhi Daredevils were just superb in season 2, winning 10 out of their 14 games.
