SA got the big wicket of Sanath Jayasuriya very early, even though SL is 23/1 in 4.2 overs, the main man who can turn the match is gone, still Dilshan is out there,he too is a dangerous bastman...
Both bastman are really playign well, Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara,SL 72/1 in 11 overs, they would be targetting a score around 300,the way they are palying it seems 300 i quite possible...
I'm not sure what's going on with Parnell, but so far he's delivered rather what you'd expect of 120 kph seam up bowling, with the keeper back and against top class batsmen in form. However, it's hardly a bad pitch to be sent in on.
South Africa seem exceptionally rusty, so I wouldn't be surprised if Sri Lanka, who have played plenty of cricket recently, outclass them in all areas.
the only problem sri lanka have is they have too many options.
they can take the batting power play about 30 and make the spinners come back later when they can let lose, or they can play out the spinners and try and repeat the opening overs against the lose pacemen.
100 for Dilshan. He's really kept his form up for a good six months now. Excellent innings today though. The bowling hasn't been fantastic but he's placed the ball very well all day.
