What game were you watching mate? It was a quality save. No keeper could've held onto it. For a start it was driven powerfully towards the corner and secondly he hhd 2 England players in the way. For once Robinson had a good game...

It looked to me as if he thought initially about catching it rather than trying to get a decent hand or fist on it, changed his mind and did neither. Not totally his fault, as Lescott should've been more alert to the Russian on his shoulder, but I wouldn't call it good goalkeeping by any stretch.

Anyway, looks like the sweaties have tooled things up too. 2-0 Georgia going into injury time.

If Israel beat Russia and England beat Croatia, England will qualify for the finals. That is their best hope.

If Macedonia beat Croatioa, and England beat Croatia 3-0, they will also qualify. How likely is that though!

Seen the robinson "error" it was a decent save but he shouldn't of pushed it back into play, making it a mistake.

I'm trusting Yossi Benayoun and his fellow isralite jew people to get a draw, I think England will just qualify.

not qualifying will be great for us. We need to get a team together that know each other well, while the euros are on send the team on a month training camp. Take 30 players that you'll pick from for the whole season all the best teams in the world pick the best players for the job but there normally from a squad of about 30. Look past the initial disapointment and theres alot more going for us than not.

On todays game Lescott was crap and so was gerrard, they looked to play the ball backwards and sideways too much and when they got forward they looked way too anxious to hold onto it and resulted to crap crosses and random shots.

Come on lads get your asses in gear.

I don't think it was a foul, he hardly touched him! Once again, a bloody official is going to cost us dear! We really should've beaten bloody Macedonia at home though! That's what really messed it up for us.

He was caught in two minds about whether to catch or punch it. He should've punched it as far as he could! I have to agree with the people who say he shouldn't play, as his confidence is too low at the moment. Trouble is, who do we play? Calamity James?

Gerrard shouldn't of been playing, he is unfit and although he had a very good game against Spurs he is not on top form. Harvgreaves may of been a better bet (is he fit?) but i'd have unfit Gerrard over Carrick.

the U21 lads look like winning again tonight We have a good chance of winning the euros, we have some good young players coming through and it's not like there will be a senior squad to lose them too, Walcott has been class tonight, not scored but every timehe ran at the defense he scared them and looked a class above. We should be playing at Wembley though
