Agree with evo on spain, has years to prove that it has dealt with the majority of racism. England has the best stadiums in the world, Old Trafford, St.James, Emirates, Stamford Bridge, Rebok, City of Man., anfield, with a chance for some of them to be improved by then. A lot of our stadiums will be improved, a lot of talk about Stamford Bridge and Villa Park being increased because of new owners. Also the new Anfield is starting soon .

I think England should get it simply because it's been a long time without a World Cup (although we had Euro' 96) and we will have some of the best stadiums in the world by then (Maybe not the best but the best selection). I don't agree with Spain holding it because of racism and some of their smaller stadiums don't seem to be good enough.

What about Wembley?

Spain should definitely not get it. I can't see them reducing racism at all when the Spanish FA insist on employing a racist manager, who would have been sacked most other places for the comments he has made - most notably about Thierry Henry.

Its not just Spain's small grounds where racism takes place though. Remember when England played at the Bernabeu about 2 years ago. Spain had it in 82 anyway, USA had it in 94 so thats not a long enough gap, it has to be England.

I quite like the look of the new Wembley, as much as I cant believe a conversation is happening about the colour of the seats, I quite like them red.

So you would have Wembley for the final, OT and the Emirates for the semis and then have stadiums like St. James's, Stadium of Light, Eastlands and the new Scouse stadium.

the FFA want football to be big out here, and this is the answer. not one single person can say that it wouldn't do wonders for the Australian game
