People will go gaga over Mitchell for winning this but his innings was as terrible as it can get for NZ. They don't really need him in this side but still they've tried to fit in him for someone better.

The real credit should go to Neesham who went crazy at the death.

With 34 required off 18 it looked like England were under pressure and not NZ. Lot of discussions going around with no clarity of thoughts. They just went with the flow of the game as they always do so does England. Poor execution!!

You don't win a T20 game by scoring 46 off 40 chasing 167 on that pitch my friend. Not to forget how Conway had to pull them out of an even more terrible situation. Mitchell just dragged himself through that innings to eventually hit his way out through slogging a mentally destroyed side.

He did not play that badly but his pacing of the innings just didn't do justice to the chase.

I agree, Neesham changed the game. No one from England managed to play an innings like that.

Both the tournament favorites will not play the final is what I think. Australia gona win tomorrow and we will have a repeat of 2015 WC finals with a change that NZ will take home the cup thus being champion of all 3 formats.
