Neesham changed the innings, Mitchell anchored and held one end. I think his low SR was justified, NZ were in trouble and had a long tail too. He just needed some big hitting support, which he found in Neesham. Think it's unfair to dissect an innings like that without considering the situation. He was trying to take the innings deep, some days it comes off or it doesn't.
