Corrected. Why didn't Babar become Man of the Tournament?
Corrected. Why didn't Babar become Man of the Tournament?
You’re seriously gonna leave out Babar? Only two players have made more runs in a T20 World Cup, and no one has made more fifties in a single tournament.Guys pick your best playing XI of the tournament.
Here's my team
- Mohammad Rizwan
- David Warner
- Rassie van der Dussen
- Kane Williamson
- Virat Kohli
- David Wiese
- Wanindu Hasaranga
- Chris Woakes
- Adam Zampa
- Shaheen Afridi
- Trent Boult
it was a tough choice between Babar and Warner, but Warner did end up getting man of the tournament which made me lean in his favour... Babar would for sure be the next person in lineYou’re seriously gonna leave out Babar? Babar should’ve been Man of the Tournament. Kohli got it in 2014 and 2016 despite not winning, because he was the top run getter. I would've picked Rizwan as the man of the tournament. But I wouldn't have been upset with Babar eitherBabar should’ve been Man of the Tournament. Kohli got it in 2014 and 2016 despite not winning, because he was the top run getter. Insanely stupid decision.

Kohli Average was 100+ in both (In 2K14, India reached the final, In 2K16, India batting was basically Kohli & Inshallah) See Pic!Babar should’ve been Man of the Tournament. Kohli got it in 2014 and 2016 despite not winning, because he was the top run getter. Insanely stupid decision.
Excluding the qualifiers of course, it’s unfair to include them.In 2016 - Tamim was the highest run getter!
In 2010, KP won not Mahela (54 runs difference)Excluding the qualifiers of course, it’s unfair to include them.
They’re dumb anyway, should be 4 groups of 5.
Babar made more fifties than anyone ever in a T20 World Cup. All of his innings were crucial, because Pakistan wouldn’t have topped the group had we lost just one match. He made half his runs while batting first, Warner batted first just once, and made 1 run, against England. He had it much easier in a tournament where chasing already gives you an edge due to the dew.Warner innings against WI made sure our NRR was ahead of South Africa, he played a crucial knock against Pakistan & than against NZ in the knockouts! 14 runs less yeah sure but Warner had more impact on Aussie campaign than anybody (maybe aside Zampa)
Dilshan in 2009, Watson in 2012, Kohli in 2014 and 2016. It’s a two way street. In 2010, KP won not Mahela (54 runs difference)
In 2007, Afridi won despite not topping any charts or winning the trophy!
Watson was unreal in 2012, just like Kohli in 2014 & 2016! (They were just on a different level) (2009 forgot about that )Babar made more fifties than anyone ever in a T20 World Cup.
