2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup - India (UAE/Oman)

What a win for Namibia. Netherlands, well, I guess choking must be in the South African blood not just limited to when you play for national team.

Hardik looks complete out of sorts as a batter, forget about him not bowling.

Lord Shardul would be a better bet than him on current form

ASHWIN over Chahar definitely. He is looking in cracking form with the ball, and These wickets definitely suit his style

Surprised Kohli dint bat considering he desperately needed more game time

Now I feel like Pandya has scammed his way to the team. He's not in a good form to bowl and since we were expecting a change in the squad by the end of IPL, he didn't bowl to cloud his form. On the other hand Axar who was picked as regular was then moved to back-up. If Hardik bowled in IPL, he would been out by now.

Benefit of doubt my friend.

You are not considered out of form unless you bowl. Hardik hasn't bowled since ages.

I still think this would be the ideal World T20 format, but hey ho:

Your prescribed format means more games for the Associates. The ICC uses a variation of this for the U19 with the group winners heading into the KO stage.

Personally, I feel the KO stage comprising of Quarters, Semis and Finals is the bestbway to judge the all round capability of any team.

The only criticism for the above would be the Wildcard round and the total number of teams. With 20 teams, you are looking at matches being spread across many days. 5 match days, in essence wouldn't really translate into 5 working days-you gotta keeonthe broadcasters happy too.

With the Wildcard, again, the Associates may have a chance at glory, but it basically is all about giving them an extra match. Not only Associates, this means that countries who havent done well get another chance to redeem themselves on the global stage. A bit unnecessary in my opinion.

India fans are not happy and will not be because these small things matter a lot during the playoffs. And we have the largest talent pool in the world and when you are picked with a specific responsibility, you ought to fulfill them. Afterall, you have been picked from a pool of million cricketers.

Why did Rohit captain a team which jad Kohli in it? If Kohli is so averse to the T20 captaincy, we might be better off if he were to relinquish it right away.

What a beauty!

Irish gonna celebrate St. Patrick's day earlier than expected
