2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Australia

India hasn't used the field restrictions well. Radical thought, what if we let Shardul Thakur open the batting?

Worked brilliantly for VK though.
It hasn't actually. He too, is as bad as KLR. Just winning a game vs Pakistan doesn't save him, you know.
Harsha has been unironically better commentating on the rain than the match.
Watching on mute. Harsha is too cheesy. I also saw Ather Ali. Don't want to hurt my eardrums!

This game is done... String of hope will be crushed if MCG game ends in washout. Even before if Pakistan loss to BD. :rolleyes

A freak innings from Litton (aided by our bowling finally being exposed) doesn't mean KLR and Kohli were crap in the game though.

What else are you expecting from him? 200+ individual score at a strike rate of 200+ in every match? This is where I see people not seeing his useful 60+ scores at a strike rate of 145+ which is 7% more than his Avg SR of 138 in T20s.

And yeah, he has been better than anyone in the team currently in exception to SKY. You can't compare a youngster to an oldie who is retiring in 3 yrs from now. That is what people said when Sachin was at 34 and VK was just making his place in the team decade ago.

But you can compare VK with Rohit now.

If rain won't stop, Bangladesh will win the match.
KL :abuse:

If you think Kohli has it bad... wait till you see the stuff thrown at KL Rahul. Unlike in the previous games he doesn't lose his wicket after a slow start owing to Taskin, makes it count with a couple of big overs and scores a fifty to lose his wicket at a bad moment and yet the way he's being talked of you'd think he was doing a Kane out there.

EDIT - although calling SKY a youngster is a bit strange as he's well over thirty.

KL is no VK or vice-versa. :D

Weather must be bad. SKY have gone to a KP masterclass rather than live coverage.

Tis raining although it seems like a passing shower due to the winds.

I do get why Kohli or KL get the stick they do from fans now that I'm listening to these 'panelists' and pundits. These people praise them to the moon as if they've just broken records when all they've delivered is a good performance ignoring the previous issues. Maybe if these folks were less grating with all their blind praise we'd have our fans being more objective.

India v Bangladesh 2016 on now...

Some of the DLS calculations for a reduced game seem to favour India heavily with a rather high target. Are they for real?
