Yes, Pakistan do still need to beat Bangladesh in the highly unlikely scenario of SA-NED getting washed out, but not by any specific margins, because even though South Africa's NRR is far superior, Pakistan will have more wins than South Africa.

Pakistan have got better run rate then India, so if Zimbabwe can upset India and Pakistan beat Bangladesh then Pakistan can still qualify...which is also very unlikely hahah

Also, Pakistan really are some sort of one of a kind team tbh. They put themselves in situations where there is no hope and suddenly play one match in a fashion where fans start believing there actually is more than hope! I just loved Shadab Khan's innings today. His 2 wicket over turned the game too.

And lol at whoever said SA trying to avoid some team in the semis and hence lost this match. They are not sure shot of getting into the semis so I doubt they will risk it. It sounds similar to Kohli dropping the catch so that Pak can be eliminated from the WC. We need to talk sense here atleast.

But this can happen and Zimbabwe did beat Pakistan. They also came very close to beating Bangladesh as well. That is why I said, I just hope India brings their A game out on Sunday! Also India will have an advantage as their match is the last match of the super 12s.

I said that and stick by it.

SA could have also batted better once the match was out of their grasp instead of simply hitting everything sky high.

Say whatever you want, but this was SA's game to lose and they did it.
