Pretty much. If I ever wanted a man at the crease in a big moment from this generation it’d have to be Ben Stokes (still think your lot would have won without him :p).

What a redemption this for England.

7 years ago they were kncked out of the 50 over world cup in the same country.

Best white ball side in the world and this cycle. Shows the importance of development, backing your players and sticking to a proper plan.
 
Now Pakistan can say, "We didn't lose the world cup, Shaheen got Injured"...
We lost the World Cup because of the batting, and with a fit Shaheen, you never know.
Of course England is a better team, but in these situations it matters more how you play on the day.
