Wouldn't Washington Sundar be a good replacement for Pandya? Unless they really feel the need for a pace bowling all rounder - those mentioned are not a patch on Pandya, as a bowler I think.

He was the one I had originally typed in my post on the last page before realising that would mean Hardik not returning.

If he can return for the last round of group games and then the knockouts I’d stick with the current squad at the moment and try a mix of five bowlers and having one of Thakur/Ashwin bat at seven in a few games. We should be taking games off Sri Lanka and Netherlands at least and in the worst case scenario we’ll still take one game from the remaining heavyweights which should secure qualification. I did say I want the team to finish first as a sign of consistency but realistically it doesn’t really provide any practical benefit since the fourth placed side could still defeat you in a one-off game.

Ok so good morning from me, what happened to Hardik Pandya? If he is out that is a big blow as we are already a batter down chasing this mammoth total on a good bowling surface with Bangladesh having such a lethal bowling attack.

Also India are doomed and not winning the semi's or finals if they even qualify in the first place. Chasing Chasing CHasing.. come the semi's or finals, we bat first and gai bhes pani mein! (Buffalo in water )

Only thing that gives me a little less heart burn is that Kishan or SKY would come in for Hardik, Thakur would settle in 100% which sucks though!

4th match and we are already in trouble, at this rate we might as well lose all our matches since Pandya is hurt!
