we were table topers in 2011 wc
Means nothing tbh! Even @Na Maloom Afraad has made a mention of the numerous occasions the team reached the KO stages.

I can sympathize cause India has been consistently reaching the KO stages of late, but is unable to convert.

Nevertheless, if the conversation is about how the side was making the Final4 each time, then it is a fair point. Perhaps, you might want to look back to the recently conducted T20 where your team was a finalist? And the one prior to that where they were beaten in the semis.

we have made every single semi final in t20 wc expect for 2014 and 2016 and 3 finals you know that and 2011 semi,2015 QF,2019 comeback but rain against sl screwed us over and CT2017

Firstly, we are not playing T20 cricket right now! T20 is not the only format.

Second, we lost so badly against West Indies (who didn't even make it into this WC), that we didn't deserve to be in the Semi,

The 2017 CT, was the last time I saw Pakistan play with a new level of passion - we found Fakhar ready to attack at the top. Babar was finding his feet. Hasan Ali was bowling like McGrath in the middle and Shadab was young and could actually bowl. Let's not forget Amir had just come back and his attitude hadn't developed yet - he was bowling so well.

Meanwhile Sri Lanka beat England again. Their streak continues....

And they chased it down at over 6 an over. Playing attacking and positive cricket - really exciting to see them being proactive and not just going for a win. Will really help their NRR.

SRL v Afg
Ban V Aus

These matches suddenly become very important in the context of the Final 4 now.

Now Imagine England smashing the shit out of India in Sunday at Lucknow.

Have you been watching them play lol - they seem completely toothless at the moment.

Against India (who have been a beast at the moment) in India - I would be surprised if we get a close game.

the ex cricketers make up crap when a player is in bad form and act as tactical geniuses and world beaters while can't defeat a poor 1992 till 2007 Indian trash team except for 2003

Funny how you didn’t show up all along when your team was being thrashed in multiple games this tournament but chose to chime in when you could get your random dig against India.

Sri Lanka need three wins against Afghanistan, Netherlands and New Zealand to become serious contenders. The Afghans can also punch above their weight. An interesting second half of the group stage is ahead of us.

In 2019, the very same game opened up the tournament. This time though, I feel England do not stand a chance of getting in. Though, Sri Lanka could very well make a run for the SF now.
