Why on earth did they organise two consecutive games at the same place? Seems like a rookie mistake in a sea of errors.

I wonder whats the concern for Hyderabad. The stadium is on the outskirts of the city,well connected by metro and other forms of transport- and when they can host 2 IPL games in 3 days, why not host the World Cup as well?

Was anyone able to grab the tickets that went on sale yesterday? It was a Mastercard pre-sale. Point to note, most of the matches are sold out at this stage. I did get 3 games via the BookmyShow app though

Pakistani fans are allowed? The Indian Embassy in Islo was very clear that it's a no go :/

I was thinking of doing: Pak v Aus (warmup) - Eng v NZ - Pak v Holland - Ind v Aus or Aus v SL + Aus v SA but what's the point of booking if I can't go

I dont think why should that be a problem if you do not have a Pakistani passport. If you do however, I think that might be a problem. Bullshit but it is what it is.

Pakistani Origin is the problem, Passport doesn't matter afaik (The visa process takes a long time to & with no guarantees)

That is bullshit! I am sorry for the fans! Imagine Pakistan winning the world cup in India with no fans would be a slap on BCCI's face.. Also imagine India Pakistan finals and Pakistan wins it.. There will be riots in India!

As far as I know, Pakistani nationals can enter only via Mumbai and Delhi airports. These are the only 2 airports that have separate immigration counters for Pakistani nationals.

I’m baffled that there isn’t more scrutiny or talk about the exclusion of one country’s fans even when they may not be citizens of said country at present.
