Yeah Pakistanis won't get accepted sadly, I can remember one of my friends that was born and grown up in UK , his company was going to India for a meeting and everyone's visa was accepted except his because he was Pakistani origin.

It is the same thing vice-versa as well. I get the security aspect and heightened scrutiny, but what I dont get is the fact that dual nationals also go through the same grind.

That is just discrimination. I get the political scenario 90% of it is forcefully created by both the countries and 10% by external factors (definitely a friendly Indo-Pak relation would be stressful and harmful to China, USA,etc) but not allowed people who do not hold Pakistani passports just based on their origin is not cool. I get why would they do it because of the David Headly factor but there are better tools available now a days and countries like USA do that.

The problem is nobody would give a dime as fans from India would flock to see the matches, bad scheduling, management and poor facilities will go unnoticed once again, BCCI will earn butt loads of money and everything will be go as usual.

It's not like Pakistan players visa is being rejected.
Imagine everyone else gets approved except Azam, Shaheen and Naseem.

Well they are famous so they will get accepted, even famous British Pakistani boxer like Amir Khan goes to India.
Its just normal Pakistani origin people like us that won't get accepted, what's sucks about it is that they won't even give you refund if they refuse you.

I’m hoping to go to India someday with my non-Pakistani passport, but it’s far from assured that i ever will.
I don’t think Pakistan has a reciprocal policy for Indian-origin people like this one. The visa fee for Indian nationals is also just 15 rupees.

True Indian-Origin or Passport holder can visit Pakistan easily.

Visitors Visa, Transit Visa (72 hours), Tourist Visa (14 days) - for just 15 rupees as you pointed out!

It just sucks.
