Also isnt it funny that the Netherlands, Afghanistan, Irelands, Scotlands have all adjusted to all formats better compared to the big nations. I too wish they get more opportunity. One thing for sure is ODI's bi-laterals will die down post this world cup. Teams will start prepping for T20's for next years WC which is technically only 7 months away lol!

ICC needs to get creative and remove all bi-laterals for limited overs format including T20's and have multi nation tournaments. Every country needs to play other country in a multi nation tournament atleast once in a 4 year circle.
I would certainly see a benefit (to everyone but England, of course) of a European Cup like the Six Nations or Asia Cup. Even using that as a qualifier event for the World Cup. So, even if that was just two weeks of matches it would at least be competitive.

Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland could do something without England but it would potentially prove too costly.

Far more interesting but less profitable than a pointless bilateral v Australia or India.

I actually like the idea of having this

Regional Cup (Asia Cup, European Cup, Oceania Cup, American Cup, African Cup)

Asia Cup
  1. Afghanistan
  2. Bangladesh
  3. India
  4. Pakistan
  5. Sri Lanka
  6. Nepal
  7. UAE
  8. Oman
European Cup
  1. England
  2. Ireland
  3. Netherlands
  4. Scotland
Ocenia Cup
  1. Australia
  2. New Zealand
  3. Papua New Guinea
  4. Vanuatu
African Cup
  1. South Africa
  2. Zimbabwe
  3. Namibia
  4. Kenya
  5. Uganda
American Cup
  1. United States
  2. Canada
  3. West Indies
  4. Bermuda
With the regional, each team plays other team twice. Home and Away. Make that a 5 match series. (3 T20, 2 ODI's).

Apart from Regional, have Eurasia Cup, Europe-Oceania Cup or a American Asia Cup where top 2 teams play the top 2 teams from other regions. Something on this line would be amazing.

I just want to see another 3 wickets in next 20 runs... I want to see little bit of thrill...

Eek I would not like to see an Australia vs Vanuatu massacre on the small grounds of New Zealand.

Also, all of these events should have their own qualifying events, much like ACC Premier Cup

I mean I do agree but that area does not have any strong team. Massacre is fine but wouldnt that be the exact reason this cup should be in place so that they get to play with top teams, get better. Right now hardly 8-10 teams play, this approach will see 25 teams participate.

I think you could have a tri-series in Oceania. Qualifier plus the two full members. PNG are stronger than everyone else in that region but struggled a lot during the World League eventually losing their ODI status. Or you pair Americas and Oceania and/or Africa.

If they were, and they won't, to do if for the next World Cup you could say each continent gets one qualification place for every full member, so Asia has five slots.

Include all teams with ODI status + 1 qualifier.

You could expand Africa a little and give them an extra spot because their two full members are already in as hosts. Then there would be one open place that could have a global qualifier with the five next based placed side.

If you just had a two-week or three-week tournament, say in Europe, with each team playing each other twice. Asia Cup might have two group or be whittled down to a smaller group - I guess you could just leave that up to the regional boards how they organise, as long as it is fair (which it probably won't be).

Feels unusual to see two bowlers using different hands that similar. Maybe Noor learned by watching flipped videos.

This is the butterfly effect as a result of the uploader trying to avoid copyright strikes and I refuse to accept any other theory.

Ok, don't crucify me for this question but;

Afghanistan v Netherlands;

Why was the Edwards (i think it was) wicket counted as a run out and not a stumping? What counts as the difference here? He kind of... fell over his own shot?

I think it was because he attempted to run after he edged it

Ok so to get Afghanistan in the semi's I need the following to happen.

Pakistan and Australia winning tomorrow. Does not matter who wins in SAF vs India game, Sri Lanka to win both their remaining matches, England wins against Netherlands, Australia can win against Afghanistan but by close margin and so can South Africa and England defeating Pakistan.

This would mean England qualifies for Champions trophy, Afghanistan qualifies Champions Trophy and Semis and we do not have India vs Pakistan at Eden Gardens.
