Head if selected will be out for three games, think we should kick the Greek God for Lasagna & keep Head.

A-Bot is also nearly guaranteed to be in the squad now that Ellis is injured. (Groin)

Agreed, Labuschagne has played himself into the squad now. Rumours of him still being excluded sound ridiculous when there's passengers like Stoinis and Green in the side.

Tamim’s put out a statement it seems. Pretty damning one for the BCB.

I have not seen one organization like BCB who treats their player like shit. They take players, fans, the whole cricketing nation for granted. Also what is with Bangladesh, they have been in cricket for such a long time, they not have an excuse in 2023. I have seen them play cricket since I was young, I am 31 now.

I mean atleast BCCI is true to its players and pays them well. Fans? They do take them for granted, yes!

Do they though? It seems fine on paper because they’re compared with other cricket boards and the average Indian but from the proportion of revenue they generate… it’s not really fair is it? Especially when you consider all of the cricketers and not just the ones at the top.

This is also without mentioning their restrictions on player freedom.

Too open! Hyderabad airport does lack specific areas for VIP movement. Should have gotten them out from the other entrances to avoid unnecessary drama. Anyhow, hope they had their fill of biryani and nihari while in Hyderabad- a true foodies paradise!

I don't think it matters to them. As long as Papon controls BCB, there is little hope. Shakib speaking about his reluctance to lead also adds to the drama. Signs look ominous for BD's World Cup prep.

If I can remember how to convert crores. Looking at the numbers from 2022/23, the top Indian men's players probably earn less from their central contract than English or Australian players.

Ashton Agar out of the WC :/

You do realise that, apart from you, nobody else knows those nicknames here? :laughter:

I had some trouble with the lasagna one before I saw Bevab's reply. The Abbott one was pretty easy

As i said before, everyone apart from India suffering last-minute injuries. It will be a big failure if they don’t win the World Cup at home
