My take on Modi in the dressing room- the team played good cricket and the 'better team won'. We didn't turn up despite having a great tournament. Not many believed we could go the the Top 4(I was among those skeptics)

However, to have come so close, again, despite a stellar tournament, they had to weep their eyes out. The run was similar to SA 2015. I'm sure Dravid showed a brave face in front of the media, but in the dressing room, he might have cried too.

Situations like these, an external person can calm nerves. Good of Modi to do so.

I have a got feeling lately if we win one of upcoming event in the coming years we will go on to win 3-4 back to back like we did from 2007 to 2013.
