In my opinion, the tickets should be sold by ICC since this is an IcC event. Would have solved a lot of ticketing fiasco
Been hearing some stupidity that tickets weren't released on account of an email sent to Mumbai Police- terror attack and a threat to blowing up the Namo Stadium.

Jus tone of the links below.....

Man of the Match should be given to KL Rahul . Kohli's innings has been those usual scratches misses drop etc .

Or Mitchell Marsh maybe

Just noticed Richard Kettleborough is the on-field umpire.

Poor soul, must be thinking-been there, seen that a thousand times. Please God, let my luck change this year and I'll be awarded the 'Order of Merlin, Indian Govt, 1st Class'

Why do you think there wouldn't have been any strong arming if it was the case?

The more worrisome aspect being that such pathetic Indian performances would ensure the crowds won't be coming in
Possible but I would put my money on the public still coming in in large numbers.

Rohit Sharma wanted to prepare for situations where Indian cricket team were 10/3 in World Cup games. Well...... he is getting the best possible preparation for it with the very first match of a World Cup, where the team was 2-3 and are on track for victory.

Anyone who thought of moving Rahul up to open, should seriously STOP now! He seems to be on a huge uplift while batting in the middle order in ODI's. This is one of his most satisfying innings purely for the situation he came in and this being a WC match against one of the contenders (Australia). And Kohli with his "first game of a WC" run, always continues....

Yes, we seem to be track. But the style of cricket is t attacking, event Hough the batsmen are now set. We are still sticking to the defensive and conservative mindset that befell us in 2015 and 2019. A mere look at Starc' s, Cummin's and Hazelwood's figures tells you that.

You don't need to go hammer tongs on this wicket as that will open the doors for Australian team. In fact, I am happily surprised that Kohli and Rahul have played sensible cricket after that jolt at the start and have taken India to a spot of comfort here!

NRR is also a factor that we need to consider. Especially, when we are playing at home-there is a need to be positive. I get that one can't go hammer and tongs on this wicket, but after you've settled down, it should be easier to play your shots.

At this stage, with 33 required,it is simply stat padding!

See this is what happens: not the best of the wicket.

India have very favourable conditions in most matches at their respective venues. I've said it before and will say it again, if they don’t win this World Cup it will be the choke of the century.
