I would have been more unsettled if Fakhar was still out in middle compared to Imam. Started horrendously but we are bowling well currently. More dots mean more chances of getting a wicket

The other side to this is that if a team dominates across 9 games, then going out in one knockout seems extra harsh

The Football WC style works because every game is basically a knockout, and the best team across the tournaments normally go all the way by default

Coming back to this. If a team loses a knockout in this scenario, they would have lost to another team that also deservedly made the knockouts after a long group stage
