I have had the suspicion in my head that his scores against second-string sides in this World Cup cycle inflated his ODI numbers and made him look better than he is, but given his world class Test game i gave him the benefit of the doubt until this World Cup. But he’s proven my suspicion now, unless he singlehandedly takes us to the knockouts after this.
